耶律楚材（1190年7月24日 —1244年6月20日），字晋卿，号玉泉老人，法号湛然居士，蒙古名吾图撒合里，契丹族，蒙古帝国时期杰出的政治家、宰相，金国尚书右丞耶律履之子。1215年，成吉思汗的蒙古大军攻占燕京时候，听说他才华横溢、满腹经纶，遂向他询问治国大计。而耶律楚材也因对金朝失去信心，决心转投成吉思汗帐下他的到来，对成吉思汗及其子孙产生深远影响，他采取的各种措施为元朝的建立奠定基础。乃马真后称制时，渐失信任，抑郁而死。卒谥文正。有《湛然居士集》等。
