秋霜似同君子操，岁寒相遇长相好。
暑不与贞士谋，杨燥怒煌如相仇。
要之二菊所遭有难易，夏居其难秋若居其易。
君不见当年秦焰焦中州，儒坛处处同荒丘。
独余商山老人在，高卧林泉节不改。
平生不识咸阳门，晚随币聘来汉京。
欲兴诗书谈王道，再使风俗还归治古淳。
我评此花似此老，傲暑凌寒无不可。
种之阶庭今几年，我自识花花识我。
粤从夏五开敷到残秋，更与黄花为辈俦。
嗟哉黄花非辈俦，老行难逐少年游。
此菊当为菊中第一流。

家铉翁（约1213～1297）号则堂，眉州（今四川省眉山市东坡区）人。家铉翁身长七尺，状貌奇伟，威严儒雅。以荫补官，累官知常州，迁浙东提点刑狱，入为大理少卿。宋亡，守志不仕。元成宗即位（1294），放还，赐号处士，时年八十二，后数年以寿终。《宋史》有传。有《则堂集》六卷，《彊（强）村丛书》辑为《则堂诗馀》一卷。词存三首收于《全宋词》中。
