富儿空毛行，贫儿把他物。被物牵入廛，买卖不得出。
觉暮便归舍，黄昏黑漆漆。所求不称意，合家加啾唧。
自无般若性，乏欠波罗蜜。把绳入草里，自系百年毕。
实是可怜许，冥冥不见日。富儿虽空手，家中甚富溢。
自有无尽藏，不假外缘物。周流用不穷，要者从理出。

庞蕴（生卒不详） 字道玄，又称庞居士，唐衡阳郡（今湖南省衡阳市）人。禅门居士，被誉称为达摩东来开立禅宗之后“白衣居士第一人”，素有“东土维摩”之称。有关他的公案时见于禅家开示拈提中，以作为行者悟道的重要参考。其传世的偈颂（迄今流传近200首）以模拟佛经偈语的风格，殷殷嘱咐学佛者修行的依归，在唐朝白话诗派中以其重于说理为一特点。至于他和女儿灵照游戏自在的情节，配合其诗偈中全家习禅的描述，不仅成为后代佛门居士向往的模范，也转而成为戏曲宝卷文学着墨的题材。
