王泠然（？692--？725），字仲清。太原（今属山西）人。开元五年登进士第，后官太子校书郎。曾上书张说自荐，未果。秩满，迁右威卫兵曹参军。工文赋诗。气质豪爽，当言无所回忌，乃卓荦奇才，济世之器。惜其不大显而终。有集今传。
