耽章（840—901），俗性黄，名崇精，法名耽章，号本寂禅师，为曹洞宗开创者之一。他是妙应法师之胞弟，涵江区黄霞村人。十九岁出家于福州云名山灵石嗣法洞。懿宗咸通初，从洞山良价学禅，得其印可。宗慕曹溪六祖，后住临村曹山，大振洞山雄风，后与洞山大师合称曹洞宗。世称曹山本寂。卒敕谥元证大师。今莆田城厢梅峰光孝寺即属曹洞宗。著有《对寒山子诗》七卷，已佚。后人辑录为《抚州曹山元证禅师语录》收入《大正藏》。《全唐诗补编零 · 续拾》卷34录其诗偈凡十二首。《全唐诗》卷823署作耽章，收诗一首，实为大梅法常之作误入。
