王逸，东汉著名文学家，《楚辞章句》作者。字叔师，南郡宜城（今湖北襄阳宜城）人。安帝时为校书郎，顺帝时官侍中。官至豫州刺史，豫章太守。参加编修《东观汉纪》，尤擅长文学，所著赋、诔、书、论及杂文21篇，又做《汉诗》123篇，后人将其整理成集，名为《王逸集》，多已亡佚，唯有《楚辞章句》一种完整地流传下来了。所作《楚辞章句》，是《楚辞》最早的完整注本，颇为后世学者所重视。
