廷高，字仲明，别号六峰，遂昌人。其父竹坡，当宋季以能诗称。仲明遭乱转徙，宋亡二十年，始归故乡。尝掌教于永嘉，秩满至京，谢病归。所著有《玉井樵唱正续稿》。自题其卷首云：「先君登癸丑奉常第，宦游湖海，作诗凡千馀首。丙子，家燬于寇，遗编散落，无一存者。仅忆《秋日寄僧》一联曰：『白蘋影蘸无痕水，黄菊香催未了诗。』先业无传，雅道几废，不肖孤之罪也。」观此，则仲明诗学，有自来矣。
