昔贤骨已朽，言在今犹新。心同理无殊，服异德堪邻。
达者燮阴阳，穷士困风尘。自非言足立，身没名俱湮。
有言未必德，爝火比宵燐。真体既内充，光辉含八垠。
上下二千载，篇什张鱼鳞。能兴后世怀，赖有不磨真。
倘昧此枢机，袭貌而遗神。吾衰嗟莫及，尔俊其传薪。

王易（1889~1956）语言学家，国学大师，擅长诗词。原名朝综，字晓湘，号简庵，江西南昌人。1889年农历7月27日生。王易1907年考入京师大学堂（北京大学前身）。1912年毕业。二十年代初，与彭泽、汪辟疆同时执教于心远大学。后远游北京执教于北京师范大学。1926年秋天，进东南大学（1928年更名为中央大学，南京大学的前身），任教七年。王易一生的辉煌时期是在中央大学。他和汪辟疆、柳诒徵、汪东、王伯沆、黄侃、胡翔东被称为“江南七彦”。王易多才博学。工宋诗，意境酷似陈简斋，书法初学灵飞经。写有多部著作如《修辞学通诠》。
