彭兆荪（1769～1821）， 清代诗人。字湘涵，又字甘亭，晚号忏摩居士。镇洋（今江苏太仓）人。有文名，中举后屡试不第。曾客江苏布政使胡克家及两淮转运使曾燠幕。彭兆荪青少年时，随父宦居边塞，驰马游猎，击剑读书，文情激越，“故其诗有三河年少、扶风豪士之概”；后来遭遇父丧，变卖家产，又因累试不第，落魄名场，常为生活而奔波，诗中“遂多幽忧之旨”。清代张维屏认为他"诗多沈郁之作"《听松庐诗话》，龚自珍则将他与舒位并举，称赞他的诗作"清深渊雅"。
