伊昔生我时，家室遭颠倒。我父罹祸罗，我母誓不保。
仓卒就长途，亲知惨避悄。余生甫二月，仲兄年周小。
路险虑活难，存婴费襁褓。谋夺乘危机，纷纭甜言巧。
曲折转柔肠，欲舍心懊恼。怀幼仲卧膝，病弱声微渺。
车中严戒约，动息愁惊搅。憔悴抵贞番，黄沙抱荒草。
家乡梦暂归，魂断哀笳绕。永夜坐长叹，月苦霜天晓。
绝域无亲知，饥寒向谁道。更遇年岁凶，沟壑转瘠殍。
力谋死中生，糟糠延昏早。饥困不得乳，沿求向邻媪。
求之日以频，邻媪厌烦扰。儿哭母亦啼，儿饥母岂饱。
手作口复哺，百计望儿好。此事幼不知，长听心如捣。
欲报昊天恩，诗书奋雠讨。寒灯敌塞雪，情奔忘集蓼。
一檄捧可干，冀亲长寿考。昕夕力不辍，摛词渐古藻。
初试录黉宫，再试贤书标。三试擢礼闱，声名振矫矫。
自分亦英奇，立可申怀抱。事竟与愿违，羁愁若笼鸟。
三年饿病危，归省贫如扫。感叹复欷歔，儿成母亦老。
四体抱病疴，骨立颜枯槁。省问儿心伤，沈痛迫中肠。
含悲诘良医，蔘苓宜服长。蔘价贵如珠，且复无私藏。
听之不能语，涕泪满衣裳。医问余何悲，欲答心怆惶。
菽水且莫饱，安冀母病臧。人生能几时，白日行天忙。
亲老不能养，亲病弮空张。吁嗟不肖身，何以齿周行。
