万寿寺有元朝松，七株偃仰无一同。五百馀年到今植，几时变化风雨中。
我来频见尚动色，挐攫未敢趋当中。甲戌京华夏初及，礼闱始散群贤集。
翰林邀客会城西，寺门正带朝晖入。冥冥气蓄雷霆寒，飒飒风摇露枝湿。
是时同辈八九人，鼐也年才逾二十。同披单衫趿轻履，一时散向松閒立。
风流诸客皆好文，当筵意气陵青云。有松尝经几辈客，高论松前曾几闻。
自从车马寺外分，十年一半为邱坟。呜呼此地松犹在，薄游曳杖僧窗外。
万里秋吹辽海空，重阴昼塞西山隘。独听飕䬟恐欲生，况经摇落情先废。
借问种松树，松树何处无。吾邑最南境，何止百万株。
上枝摇荡潜霍云，下根磅礴松山湖。往往中有宋元植，荣枯萝茑腾鼪鼯。
年少去之归老夫，何况不归使松孤。君不念男儿莫待齿发脱，无情松树始长活。

姚鼐（nài）（1731～1815）清代著名散文家，与方苞、刘大櫆并称为“桐城三祖”。字姬传，一字梦谷，室名惜抱轩（在今桐城中学内），世称惜抱先生、姚惜抱，安徽桐城人。乾隆二十八年（1763）中进士，任礼部主事、四库全书纂修官等，年才四十，辞官南归，先后主讲于扬州梅花、江南紫阳、南京钟山等地书院四十多年。著有《惜抱轩全集》等，曾编选《古文辞类纂》。
