西山俯清溪，中有招提地。今晨发游兴，行蹑樵迹至。
寺古门半颓，剥落馀榜字。乡人利邀福，因乡遂名寺。
残僧缺梵诵，一饱无佗志。依稀临济宗，欲说犹能记。
自从达摩来，妙法指心示。渡江芦径折，面壁石留志。
莲宗衍花叶，顿渐派遂异。初惟北宗显，蝉联帝师位。
南宗晚出抗，衣钵鸣法器。南祖北则祧，顿兴渐乃避。
遂教曹溪水，一滴十方醉。兹地本岭峤，固应濡染易。
宗风昔方盛，英伟多法嗣。初祖各开山，并擅大神智。
此间百里近，遂有神僧二。南岩坐圆应，阴那据惭愧。
禅宗不可作，僧反为佛累。岂知古天竺，象教亦颓坠。
祅神出持世，魔氛日以肆。瞿昙佛故种，受侮来异类。
豆瓜强剖分，净土遽易置。五部皆孱王，龙象力难庇。
慈悲睹末劫，慧眼应垂泪。昙华久不现，见叶纷相弃。
惟扇芙蓉妖，流毒远相被。东来遍震旦，民财坐疲匮。
即今寺中僧，与俗亦同嗜。犹借福田说，鼓众博檀施。
木佛寂不言，村女竞相媚。因之变供养，得为口腹备。
冷观发浩叹，懒复著言议。寺左有奇石，山静林意邃。
徘徊抚石坐，欲说西来意。

丘逢甲(1864年～1912年）近代诗人。字仙根，又字吉甫，号蛰庵、仲阏、华严子，别署海东遗民、南武山人、仓海君。辛亥革命后以仓海为名。祖籍嘉应镇平（今广东蕉岭）。同治三年（1864年）生于台湾彰化，光绪十四年（1887年）中举人，光绪十五年登进士（1889年），授任工部主事。但丘逢甲无意在京做官返回台湾，到台湾台中衡文书院担任主讲，后又于台湾的台南和嘉义教育新学。
