吾闻千里以外风不同，人间乃有万里之长风。来从海上梅雨后，纪自西郊野叟眉山翁。
古称博物家，无若周元公。《尔雅·释天》篇，八方风色以类从。
北凉西泰凯南谷自东。颓飙飘庉暴昌曀，一一命义无相蒙。
《周礼》保章十有二，妖祥乖别占荒丰。下而庄生《齐物论》，以至应劭《风俗通》，飕浏飉颲飙飓，叫嚎吒吸咬于喁。
名虽巧排比，语实工形容。舶趠之名特未悉，土俗传说惟吴中。
吴中五六月，水盛溽暑方蕴隆。此风东南来，一扫云翳还虚空，商羊黑蜧潜厥踪。
炎官亦退三舍避，大启橐籥伊谁功。三日湿气消，五日暑气融。
连绵七日九日尚未止，快哉何暇分雌雄。羊角初从何处起，合而为一浩荡来无穷。
国家象胥译九重，白雉入贡兼青熊。良商豪贾狎海童，高帆幅亚榑桑红。
中男长女各效职，飞渡溟渤如轻鸿。此时田间一老翁，置身恍在兰台宫。
不知人生更复有何乐，但向北窗高枕卧听声蓬蓬。

查慎行（1650～1727） 清代诗人，当代著名作家金庸先祖。初名嗣琏，字夏重，号查田；后改名慎行，字悔余，号他山，赐号烟波钓徒，晚年居于初白庵，所以又称查初白。海宁袁花（今属浙江）人。康熙四十二年(1703)进士；特授翰林院编修，入直内廷。五十二年（1713），乞休归里，家居10余年。雍正四年（1726），因弟查嗣庭讪谤案，以家长失教获罪，被逮入京，次年放归，不久去世。查慎行诗学东坡、放翁，尝注苏诗。自朱彝尊去世后，为东南诗坛领袖。著有《他山诗钞》。
