天穷苦无告，孤露初及髫。倾家树四壁，马磨风萧萧。
朝餐或耻盎，夕饮恒赌瓢。子衿式学省，童冠各在招。
束脩敛薄少，岁获偿蓘穮。上堂奉甘滑，入室馨脂膋。
一噎三咻摩，一食再温劭。蒸梨或忤志，捐斥无宽条。
婴儿抱酷爱，毕世非一朝。白日不东返，孝养随瞥飘。
所余杯与棬，傍身币琼瑶。触时即子卯，有霣如春潮。
仰供不知劬，俯畜安能饥。举家浩鹅雁，妻馁儿号宵。
维叟不卤莽，长短与量料。纫箴教补裂，呼粥权息嚣。
乡邻敬其谊，百里无飞鸮。长官式其贤，唾息不敢骄。
噫乎血气伦，报本义所要。人纪有乖沸，兹实悬之杓。
惠迪经所训，物理亮非遥。感叹遂成咏，庶以风鄙浇。

曾国藩（1811年11月26日－1872年3月12日），初名子城，字伯函，号涤生，谥文正，汉族，出生于湖南长沙府湘乡县杨树坪（现属湖南省娄底市双峰县荷叶镇）。晚清重臣，湘军的创立者和统帅。清朝战略家、政治家，晚清散文“湘乡派”创立人。晚清“中兴四大名臣”之一，官至两江总督、直隶总督、武英殿大学士，封一等毅勇侯，谥曰文正。
