徐宏祖（邑志隐逸传），字振之，一字弗如，号霞客。居祝塘之梧塍里。博学好古，襟怀高旷。遍游天下名山大川，以至四岳九边无不至者，其行不治装裹粮，筇杖襆被，春往冬归。采药峨眉，不火食者八日。丽江牧延修鸡足山志。著作等身，《游记》及《溯江纪源》尤佳。万历十四年生，崇祯十四年卒，年五十六。
