去年水潦百谷死，居民无食食糟秕。
州之饿者数千人，黄岩之民犹倍苁。
携持老少出城郭，尽撤墙屋无居止。
鬻妻弃子人不售，价例不复论羊豕。
白日市井闻号叫，夜堆廊庑如虫豸。
县官哀怜发赈救，一饭才得一盂尔。
出门未暇充喉咽，已有数十填填沟水。
我时过之不忍顾，往往悲咽胸填委。
岂无智虏裨万一，远地不得号君耳。
钱侯作倅忠且仁，悲怜饿殍如亲子。
日开官廪与之食，又令豪右发储峙。
昨日驰书白转连，披阵肝肾献金矢。
更乞兵储二万斛，民之大命方有倚。
侯从新年作假山，自闻民饥不得视。
非无泉石可般乐，人令方瘁何有喜。
愿侯勿遽爱此山，念此膢腊存狐蚁。
天无疫疠五谷熟，生者保聚归田里。
此山之石坚不坚，将与侯德无穷已。

（1017—1080）宋福州候官人，字述古，人称古灵先生。与陈烈、周希孟、郑穆友称“四先生”，倡理学。仁宗庆历二年进士。神宗朝为侍御史知杂事，论青苗法不便，出知陈州、杭州。后以枢密直学士知通进、银台司兼侍读，判尚书都省。尝荐司马光、苏轼等三十三人。有《古灵集》。
