（1043—1122）蜀州新津人，字天觉，号无尽居士。张唐英弟。英宗治平二年进士。调通川主簿。熙宁中以章惇荐，权检正中书礼房公事，擢监察御史里行。坐事责监荆南税。哲宗初为开封府推官，屡诣执政求进，反对稍更新法，出提点河东刑狱，连徙数路。哲宗亲政，召为右正言，迁左司谏，力攻元祐大臣司马光、吕公著等。徽宗即位，迁中书舍人，崇宁初为翰林学士，寻拜尚书右丞，转左丞。与蔡京议政不合，罢知亳州，入元祐党籍。大观四年拜尚书右仆射，变更蔡京所为，为政持平。为台臣疏击出贬。后还故官职卒。谥文忠。有《神宗正典》、《无尽居士集》等。
