岩石江头峻如壁，舟人指为慈母石。慈母名来不可闻，巉岩兀嵂秋江碧。
我闻慈母名，起我父母思。人有父母谁不思，我思父母徒伤悲。
忆昔生我童稚时，家贫逐日图生资。析薪与我代灯烛，鬻衣与我买诗书。
朝夕俾我苦勤学，戒我勿似庸常儿。况生我命苦多疾，父母提挈绵岁月。
一朝我病忽呻吟，父母咿哑面如漆。父母衣我兮宁自寒，父母食我兮宁自饥。
我今身为一命仕，薄俸堪将备甘旨。二亲已去掩荒丘，薄俸还将饱妻子。
几回举箸食腥膻，默默不知双泪涟。收泪还将酒杯奠，杯奠不到音容前。
慈母石，世罕有，汝在江头天地久。我思父母不能养，恨恨当同尔齐朽。
呜呼罔极恩难报，幸今赖有移忠孝。尚当竭力事吾君，庶可扬名酬二亲。
诗曰：谁化江边石，世传慈母名。神枯真可想，意得貌如生。
行路三回顾，题诗独见称。丹青在人目，千古共沾缨。

（1428—1500）明广东新会人，字公甫，号石斋，晚号石翁，居白沙里，学者称白沙先生。正统十二年，两赴礼部不第。从吴与弼讲理学，居半年而归。筑阳春台，读书静坐，数年不出户。入京至国子监，祭酒邢让惊为真儒复出。成化十九年授翰林检讨，乞终养归。其学以静为主，教学者端坐澄心，于静中养出端倪。兰溪姜麟称之为“活孟子”。又工书画，山居偶乏笔，束茅代之，遂自成一家，时呼为茅笔字。画多墨梅。有《白沙诗教解》、《白沙集》。
