陈普，字尚德，号惧斋，世称石堂先生。南宋淳佑四年（1244年）生于宁德二十都石堂（今属蕉城区虎贝乡文峰村）。南宋著名教育家、理学家，其铸刻漏壶为世界最早钟表之雏形。
