公诗沧海生明月，草木光辉涯不竭。
仆如拙匠运斧斤，颜汗淋漓指流血。
心知短绠难汲深，拱把之木无繁队。
风雅堕地几千祀，牢落荒林鸣络纬。

搜奇往往魑魁泣，穷高不碍天门重。
鹏飞羊角三万里，笔势翩翩有如此。
渠侬辟易虎负嵎，公独从容禹行水。
端由万卷胸中在，左右寻源无不会。
诗坛独上四无人，鸟兔驱车天倚盖。
曹刘沈谢不支吾，险何间隔孙山外。
池塘不梦春草青，愚生已分老田塍。
县榻空烦礼徐穉，一笑相逢俄隔岁。
不辞入府异庞公，祗恐言诗非木赐。
朝来好语日边傅，大惠宁许一州专。
诏书络绎催朝天，紫薇帝庭领列仙。
钓船已入酒圣手，清风一枕无何有。

刘宰（1167—1240）字平国，号漫塘病叟，镇江金坛（今属江苏）人 。绍熙元年（1190）举进士。历任州县，有能声。寻告归。理宗立，以为籍田令。迁太常丞，知宁国府，皆辞不就。端平间，时相收召誉望略尽，不能举者仅宰与崔与之二人。隐居三十年，于书无所不读。既卒，朝廷嘉其节，谥文清。宰为文淳古质直，著有《漫塘文集》三十六卷，《四库总目》又作有语录，并传于世。
