黄叔达，字知命，分宁（今江西修水）人。黄庭坚弟。哲宗绍圣二年（一○九五）庭坚贬黔州，同年秋，叔达携家及山谷子自芜湖登舟，历尽坎坷，于三年五月抵黔南。元符三年归江南，卒于荆州途中。事见黄营 《山谷年谱》 （ 《山谷集》 附）。
