（452—489）南朝齐琅邪临沂人，字仲宝。王僧绰子。生而父遇害，袭爵豫宁侯。宋明帝时，选尚阳羡公主，拜驸马都尉，历官秘书丞。后从萧道成(齐高帝)，迁右仆射，领吏部。入齐，封南昌县公。礼仪诏策，皆出俭手。齐武帝永明年间，领丹阳尹、国子祭酒。于宅中开学士馆，以四部书充其家藏。官至中书监。俭精研《三礼》，有《元徽四部书目》、《古今丧服集记》，并依《七略》作《七志》。卒谥文宪。明人辑有《王文宪集》。
