（1449—1531）明浙江馀姚人，字于乔，号木斋。成化十一年进士第一，授修撰。累迁左庶子。弘治初，与日讲，帝屡称善。八年入内阁参预机务，累官太子太保、兵部尚书兼东阁大学士，与刘健、李东阳同辅政。秉节直亮，见事尤敏，时人有“李公谋，刘公断，谢公尤侃侃”之称。武宗嗣位，请诛刘瑾不纳，致仕。旋被诬夺职，瑾诛，复职。致仕。世宗即位，即遣使慰问。嘉靖六年，再起入阁，仅数月，以老辞归。卒谥文正。有《归田稿》。
