顾野王（519-581年），原名顾体伦，字希冯，吴郡吴县（今江苏苏州）人。南朝梁陈间官员、文字训诂学家、史学家。因仰慕西汉冯野王，更名为顾野王，希望自己取得冯野王一样在文学方面取得成绩）。长期居于亭林（今属上海金山区），人称顾亭林。历梁武帝大同四年太学博士、陈国子博士、黄门侍郎、光禄大夫，博通经史，擅长丹青，著有《玉篇》。陈太建十三年卒，诏赠秘书监、右卫将军。后代顾炎武，清初思想家 ，号亭林，亦称顾亭林，以期追慕先人之意。
