刘祖满，字兰雪，一字畹卿。顺德人。兰雪生而端庄，幼嗜古书，喜作韵语。有孝行。年十四，母目忽瞽，祷以身代。夜梦神告以燃指，觉如神诲，痛仆于地。母惊，扪抱大哭，两目遂开。人以为纯孝所感，州府表其事。长适何维柏之从孙允衎。年二十四卒。著有《丛桂剩稿》、《梅妆阁集》。事见清温汝能《粤东诗海》卷九六。
