财叶将残，雨霁风高摧木杪；江乡潇洒，数株衰柳罩平桥。露寒波冷翠荷凋，雾浓霜重丹枫老。暮云收，晴虹散，落霞飘。
【幺】雨过池塘肥水面，云归岩谷瘦山腰。横空几行塞鸿高，茂林千点昏鸦噪。日衔山，船舣岸，鸟寻巢。
【驻马听】闷入孤帏，静掩重门情似烧；文窗寂静，画屏冷落暗魂消。倦闻近砌竹相敲，忍听邻院砧声捣。景无聊，闲阶落叶从风扫。
【幺】玉漏迟迟，银汉澄澄凉月高；金炉烟烬，锦衾宽剩越难熬。强啀夜永把灯挑，欲求欢梦和衣倒，眼才交，恼人促织叨叨闹。
【尾】一点来不够身躯小，响喉咙针眼里应难到。煎聒的离人，斗来合噪。草虫之中无你般薄劣把人焦。急睡着，急惊觉，紧截定阳台路儿叫。

郑光祖生于元世祖至元初年（即公元1264年），字德辉，汉族，平阳襄陵（今山西临汾市襄汾县）人，从小就受到戏剧艺术的熏陶，青年时期置身于杂剧活动，享有盛誉。但他的主要活动在南方，成为南方戏剧圈中的巨擘。元代著名的杂剧家和散曲家。
