柯鸿年（1867～1929）字贞贤，号珍岑、晚号澹园居士，长乐柯百户村人。鸿年少时有殊才，读书致志，记性极佳，每览籍阅篇，都一一记明，诵以不讹。13岁应童子试，16岁入马江船政，被学校派学法国，学习或实习单位在“法学部律例大书院”，专攻万国公语、法语专业课程，六年后归国充船政政职。后因庚子中法条约中，芦汉铁路事情上闻于朝。被权贵看中企图收归。柯鸿年不从，遂招污蔑失职。后从商，闲暇时好与闽地同乡诗人相互做诗应和，并屡次应海外故人之招重游海外。最后一次病归，逝世。有《澹园遗稿》。
