太岁丙寅夏五月，官绅日叙忘形迹。同抱殷勤恳挚心，为民请命祈膏泽。
令尹固始延陵公，瑰文飞檄蚊龙宅。翘首太虚无片云，欷歔仰望频蹙额。
聪明正直城隍神，累代崇封靖海伯。叠著威灵孚下民，能逐炎官帜张白。
一诚上达显灵应，油云遽匿乌轮赤。池蛙狂跃怒争鸣，石燕高翔健奋翮。
始看霢霂继淅沥，银潢忽泻寒生席。曾不崇朝土脉滋，转移造化凭谁力。
昔贤曾记喜雨亭，三农鼓舞在顷刻。侯文一字一千金，字字精诚天意格。
四郊日夜桔槔声，不如片纸庆实获。小园诗社久未开，行将赏雨集嘉客。
自今日始雨十日，会看沟浍盈千百。北窗日日卧羲皇，静待秋成俗虑释。
昨宵檐溜听声声，转辗不寐几永夕。心香一瓣祝苍穹，但愿得寸复得尺。
上马尽解贤侯忧，下亦可塞吾侪责。明朝入市买鱼虾，快哉无负此行役。

字丹卿，号颜丞，出身望族，十九岁中秀才，光绪廿八年中举，翌年登进士。选为吏部文选主事。目睹清廷腐败，以祖母病乞归。任江阴劝学所所长，致力于地方教育和实业事业。大力发展城乡教育。辛亥革命参加同盟会，任分部部长。民国十三年，发起成立陶社，刊印江上诗钞、先哲遗书二十馀种。为传承与发展文化作出了贡献。沦陷时期，日伪威胁利诱，主持维持会，均遭其严词拒绝。民国廿八年卒。
