徐炯（1862—1936），字子休，号蜕翁，四川华阳（今成都市）人。光绪癸巳举人，两上春官不售，返川办学，毕生从事教育事业。曾应陕西布政使樊增祥之邀，率陕西省首批留学生赴日。由日返川，主办四川通省师范和附属小学，被选为四川教育会会长。深蓄兴邦拨乱之志，崇尚儒教，提倡国学，主张学以致用。
