释永颐，字山老，号云泉，钱塘（今浙江杭州）人。居唐栖寺。与江湖诗人周晋仙、周伯弜父子等多有唱和。理宗淳祐十年（一二五○），上天竺佛光法师抗拒权贵侵占寺产，愤而渡江东归时，颐曾遗书慰问。有《云泉诗集》一卷传世。事见本集末附《上天竺志》永颐小传。 永颐诗，以读画斋刊《南宋群贤小集》本为底本，校以汲古阁影抄《南宋六十家小集》本（简称汲古阁本）等。新辑集外诗附于卷末。
