东汉时期，山阳金乡的范式与汝南张劭是京城洛阳太学里的同学，关系特别要好，毕业后范式约定两年后的9月15日去张劭家拜访，转眼约期已到，张劭杀鸡煮黍准备待客，果然十分守信的范式走了几百里地登门拜访，让张家感动不已。
