西周时期，周成王继承父亲的遗志，分封诸侯，他封伯禽为鲁侯，周公向兄弟伯禽祝贺，说：“你以前是鲁国的有名能士，你到任后不要忘记你是周文王的儿子，周武王的弟弟，现今成王的叔叔。你要一沐三握发，一饭三吐哺，爱惜人才。”
