西汉时期，汉武帝同时宠幸尹夫人和邢夫人，对他们照顾有加。为了避免她们互相倾轧，下诏书让她们不得见面。后来尹夫人请求汉武帝让她见一见邢夫人，汉武帝考虑再三同意了她的要求。相见后，尹夫人低头痛苦，自叹不如邢夫人。
