为富不仁的典故

战国时期，诸侯滕国国君想实行仁政，手下人把孟子推荐给他，他虚心请教怎样实行仁政。孟子说想一心发财的人是不能实行仁政的就是说“为富不仁，为仁不富”，实行仁政的君主征收赋税是有限度的，只有老百姓富了国家才能富强。
