契船求剑的典故

战国时期，一个楚国人坐船渡长江，船行至江山时他不小心将身上佩带的宝剑掉到水中，但没能及时抓住，于是就在掉剑的地方船舷作了一个记号，船靠岸后就在刚做记号的地方下水去摸他的宝剑，结果一无所获。
