老泪纵横的典故

公元757年，杜甫得到唐肃宗的许可回家探亲，在回家途中亲眼看到安史之乱所造成的种种惨境。邻居问他战争何时才能结束，并诉说家乡的苦难：地没有耕种，孩子们被逼去打仗……说到伤心处，乡亲们老泪纵横，杜甫只好仰天长叹。
