楚汉相争时期，韩信活捉赵王歇后，同时活捉他的参谋李左车。韩信十分谦虚地向李左车求取燕齐之道。李左车建议他暂时休整，同时加强伐燕的舆论攻势，可以不战而胜。他说：“智者千虑，必有一失；愚者千虑，必有一得。这些仅供参考。”
