义不反顾的成语故事

基本解释反顾：回头看。①义：通“议”，考虑，打主意，选择。决策时连回头看的功夫都没有。形容毫不犹豫，极为迅速地作出某项决定。亦作“计不反顾”。②为了正义只能奋勇向前，不犹豫回顾。亦作“义无反顾”。

出处《史记·司马相如列传》：“夫边郡之士，闻烽举燧燔，皆摄弓而驰，荷兵而走，流汗相属，唯恐居后，触白刃，冒流矢，义不反顾，计不旋踵，人怀怒心，如报私讎。”

义不反顾的典故

西汉时期，汉武帝派大臣唐蒙去修治“西南夷道”，唐蒙征用大量民工，杀了部落酋长，引发骚乱。汉武帝让司马相如去平息事端。司马相如写《谕巴蜀檄》文告，要求巴蜀民众要“义不反顾，计不旋踵”，经沟通应酬，化解了矛盾。
