济河焚舟的典故

公元前628年，秦国趁晋国大丧而出兵占领晋国滑城，晋国出兵将秦军全部消灭，主将孟明视靠晋文公夫人帮助才得以逃回秦国。3年后，秦穆公又派孟明视伐晋。孟明视从茅津渡河后将船全部烧毁，背水一战，大败晋军，占领王官等地。
