北魏龙骧将军羊祉的儿子羊侃身材高大魁梧，十几岁就随父出征，立下赫赫战功。北魏皇帝召他入朝，故意说他是羊质虎皮，让他学老虎的样子，羊侃的手指在地板上抓了十个洞，真的像老虎那样，北魏皇帝称他是真正的壮士。
